Yesterday I was on my way to the beach after work and so I got off at the subway station and I heard this woman crying really loudly. Typical, kind of, living downtown Toronto lol. Regardless I looked over to make sure everything was cool and no one was hurt.
The lady the works at the convenience store, was the one who was crying and she was holding a broken arm!!! No one was helping her, everyone was staring at her like she was nuts!! I ran over and was like "Oh no hun we need an ambulance!!!!" And I started calling emergency. She was like no, no and insisted she was okay, but she was bleeding and crying an it was chaos.
Then her husband comes out and starts screaming at her in Tamil! So, I helped her climb over the counter and put my arms around her and kept her away from her husband who was acting like a raging wifebeater. I kinda guarded her like a basketball you know, like one hand on her back the other hand fighting off her husband lol.
There was a pretty big crowd drawn by now and in the drama I left my purse way out in the open so I told some watcher-by to please go grab it.
All the time I'm on the phone with the lady from 911 trying to give her the damn address that I had like no idea of.
Anyways I stayed there and rubbed her back until the paramedics came and everything was cool. Then I gave her a hug and went on my way to do some sprinting on the beach.
It was pretty random.
& noooo... the paramedics weren't cute. I didn't get to see the cops though. Uniforms are so sexy. Prow.
